Our Story


The Night Shift Theatre Company is a nonprofit theater company formed by graduates of the Master of Fine Arts program at Florida State University/Asolo Repertory Theatre Conservatory for Actor Training. The company has since grown and evolved into so much more! 

The Night Shift Theatre Company aims to produce intimate theater by focusing on the fundamental beauties of performance and story. We devote ourselves to producing affordable, accessible theater so that our work may reach a wider, more diverse audience. 


The Night Shift Theatre Company is an All-Inclusive, Artist-Driven Company that hopes to continue to prove that theatre is a force of nature and belongs to EVERYone.

Producing artistic director

Lucy is an Actor-Singer-Shakespeare Enthusiast with an MFA from the Florida State University/Asolo Repertory Theatre Conservatory for Actor Training. Lucy has been a part of The Night Shift Theatre Company since it was founded in 2013, and has since been promoted to Executive and Producing Artistic Director.

Marketing Manager

Shea Madison is an Actor-Singer-Dancer-Shakespeare Lover that graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and attended Circle in the Square Theatre School for Musical Theatre. Shea joined the Board of The Night Shift Theatre Company in Winter of 2018 as Social Media Coordinator and Marketing Manager, and began Co-Hosting Drunken Shakespeare January of 2019.
